The ultimate list of refreshing, healthy mocktail recipes!

When you skip the alcohol, it’s wild how often the “options” default to something overly sweet or straight off the kids’ menu. We can do better than that. If you’re craving a drink that feels just as fun and elevated as a cocktail — without the booze or the sugar overload, this roundup has you covered.

Below you’ll find 10 low-sugar mocktails you can easily make at home that are refreshing, simple, and actually feel like a treat. And if you want to get more confident mixing your own alcohol-free drinks, be sure to check out my blog post 5 Tips for Making Mocktails at Home for an easy formula and go-to tricks to help you build balanced mocktails with whatever you have on hand.

Low sugar mocktails

Peach Ranch Water Mocktail

Ingredients

  • Topo Chico soda water

  • 2 oz non-alcoholic tequila (My top pick is  Free Spirits)

  • 1.5 oz peach nectar

  • .5 oz lime juice

Instructions

  • Open your soda and dump out 4 oz.

  • Add in all other ingredients very slowly - the soda can fizz over if you add to quickly.

    • (If you don’t care about it being in a bottle I would mix it in a large tumbler)

  • Garnish with a lime wedge, you're done!

The peach nectar can be subbed out for pineapple juice, cherry juice, orange juice or omitted entirely for a classic Ranch Water mocktail.

Skinny Cucumber Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz cucumber juice (if you're not juicing your own I like Suja's Green Juice)

  • 1 oz Sugar-Free Jalapeno Syrup

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 3-4 oz sparkling soda (I usually use a lime or cucumber-melon sparkling water)

  • Optional rim: lime, lime zest, monk fruit sweetener, cucumber ribbons

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine first three ingredients with ice. Shake for 10 seconds.

  • Optional step: Grab a fresh glass and swipe a wedge of lime on the side. Sprinkle lime zest and monkfruit sweetener on the side. Fill a tumbler with fresh ice and strain the mixture in. Top with sparkling soda. Enjoy!

Sugar-Free Jalapeño Syrup

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Cut off the stem of your pepper and thinly slice, including the seeds.

  • Combine with monkfruit sweetener and boiling water.

  • Stir until monkfruit is dissolved.

  • Let sit and cool for at least one hour. The longer you let the peppers sit the spicier it will be.

  • Store in an air-tight container for up to a week.

I’ll throw an ounce of this in so many different types of sodas to add a spicy burn that helps emulate the burn and complexity of alcohol!

  • Garnish: grapefruit slice & sprig of rosemary

Instructions

  • In a tumbler, muddle the juices and rosemary gently together.
