A roundup of festive, non-alcoholic drink recipes for a crowd on Halloween
If you’re trying to cut back on alcohol (or skip it altogether) this spooky season, I’ve got you covered with some Halloween mocktails that are festive, fun, and won’t leave you with a scary next-day hangover.
These recipes are perfect for entertaining a crowd during the month of October and making sure everyone feels included with a thoughtful, non-alcoholic drink!
If I was going to buy one non-alcoholic spirit for Halloween it would be the zero-proof tequila by Free Spirits. It's just so versatile and margaritas/palomas are always a crowd-pleaser. It's listed in several recipes and will add depth and complexity to your mocktails that are hard to recreate with just juices and shrubs, etc. It's linked here on Amazon* with all my other mocktail ingredients and special touches.
Halloween Batched Mocktail Recipes
Batched "Boo-Garita" Mocktail A classic margarita with a spooky black spin!

Recipe (Serves 4-6):
2 C N/A "Tequila" (I recommend this one by Free Spirts)
1 C lime juice (fresh squeezed makes a big difference!)
1/2 C orange juice
1/4 C agave
1 TB edible black glitter (it's amazing you only need a little to go a long way in turning any light drink black!)
Optional Garnishes: edible black icing + sea salt, dehydrated lime slices. Or use black lava salt + lime for the rim!
Instructions:
In a pitcher, combine all your ingredients and stir to combine. Keep in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
When ready, rim your glasses with edible black icing and sea salt then fill with ice and pour. Top with a lime slice and enjoy!
Bloody Helly Margarita Mocktail A sweet and tart cherry margarita mocktail - serve in a pumpkin!

Recipe (Serves 4-6):
2 C N/A "Tequila" (I recommend this one by Free Spirts)
1 C lime juice (fresh squeezed makes a big difference!)
1 C tart cherry juice
1/4 C agave
Instructions:
In a pitcher, combine all your ingredients and stir to combine. Keep in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
For a frozen variation, try using a blender with frozen cherries and you can freeze your n/a tequila in an ice tray overnight so the mocktail doesn't get too diluted.
Serve in glasses rimmed with coarse salt+sugar and lime wedges, with a scary skeleton hand of course!
Dracula "Sans"gria - 5 Servings

Recipe:
1 C blackberries (frozen is fine!) Â
1 C chopped plums
1 C sliced orange
1 bottle non-alcoholic red wine (top picks here)
1 C pomegranate juice
1 lemon, juice
4-5 sticks cinnamon
Soda water
Optional: dry ice for a bubbling effect
Instructions:
First, make sure all your chopped fruit is ready.
Add all ingredients except soda to a pitcher or punch bowl and stir gently.
Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
When ready, serve in wine glasses and top with 1-2 oz soda and a spooky garnish!
Safety Note: Evaporated ice is not safe to consume and cannot be handled with bare hands, make sure to wear gloves. You can place a small block at the bottom of your punch bowl and make sure not to serve it or consume it. The safest bet is to put it on the side next to your punch for the smoky effect - or make sure it is fully evaporated before consumption.
Beetlejuice Tequila Punch A brightly colored drink perfect for a crowd!

Recipe (Serves 4-6):
2 C N/A "Tequila" (I recommend this one by Free Spirts)
1/2 C lime juice (fresh squeezed makes a big difference!)
1/2 C orange juice
1/2 C pineapple juice
1 bottle green soda (I used Jones Sour Apple which is bright green!)
Instructions:
In a pitcher, combine all your ingredients and stir to combine.
Serve in glasses filled with ice, and add on a plastic beetle of course!
Skinny Coconut Margarita Mocktails A creamy mocktail without all the added sugar & headaches!

Recipe (Serves 6-8):
1 C lite coconut milk
2 C N/A "Tequila" (I recommend this one by Free Spirts)
1.5 C lime juice (fresh squeezed makes a big difference!)
1.5 C coconut water
2 TB agave pineapple juice
Rims: lime or agave + coconut flakes & use a sharpie for the faces!
Instructions:
In a pitcher, combine all your ingredients and stir to combine.
Taste and adjust lime/sweetness to your liking. Let chill at least an hour before serving. DON’T add ice to the pitcher itself or it will be watered down.
Prepare your glasses by doing the faces first, then rim, before adding ice and pouring. The coconut milk will separate a little in the fridge so use a whisk to stir again before pouring.
Have a spooky Halloween!
