A sweet and spicy mocktail recipe just in time for blackberry season
The combo of sweet blackberries and spicy ginger beer is magic in a glass! Make sure to use non-alcoholic ginger beer and not ginger ale, which can be loaded with added sugar and lacks the spiciness and zing this recipe calls for. I like Q Mixers, Fever Tree or Betty Buzz Ginger Beer.

Ingredients
4-5 blackberries
1/2 oz lime juice (usually about half a lime)
2 basil leaves
5 oz non-alcoholic ginger beer by Q Mixers
Garnish with lime wedge or basil leaves
Instructions
Place blackberries, basil and lime juice in a cocktail shaker.
Muddle the until blackberries and basil break apart, about 20 seconds.
Add a scoop of ice. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
Strain into a fresh glass filled with ice.
Top with ginger beer, garnish and enjoy!
